Sony Xperia i1 Honami is expected to feature a 5-inch Triluminous Full HD screen display with 1080p resolution, the power of Sony's X-Reality engine, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and the 20MP camera that can record 4K Ultra HD videos.

Previous reports claimed the Sony Xperia i1 Honami phablet will include the CyberShot features and Xenon flash. The Honami camera can provide its users with high-quality captured images with sharp colours, visual clarity, brightness and contrast.

Additionally, an unidentified user on the XDA Developers forum has successfully ported the refurbished Sony Xperia Honami camera app to the existing Xperia devices such as Xperia X, ZL and Tablet Z providing the first peep to some of the latest software features. GSMArena also posted the screenshots that shows an adjusted camera interface with seven added icons including the new shooting modes Time Shift and AR Effect.

The Time Shift shooting mode is basically a burst mode that can capture at least 15 images in a quick sequence. From there, the smart phone user can select the perfect moment captured and discharge the rest.

The Sony Xperia Honami is currently facing rough competition from rival devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and the upcoming Nokia Lumia 1020 EOS with the remarkable 41MP camera. No confirmation has been given yet as to when Sony will launch the Sony Xperia i1 Honami but the Japanese company already has an even scheduled on July 4 in Paris, France where the Honami is expected to be officially unveiled.
