Sony Xperia Tablet S is attracting new gadget shoppers with a price drop of $50 and free Casual Cover for a total savings of $110. Meanwhile, the international release of Xperia Tablet Z, the new flagship tablet from the Japanese tech firm remains one of the most anticipated news of 2013.
Xperia Tablet S Specs
Xperia Tablet S features 9.7 display screen with a resolution of 1200×800p. It runs on Android OS v4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Weighing 570g, S is fueled by Nvidia Tegra 3, Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A9, and 1 GB of RAM under the hood. Storage options include 16GB, 32GB and 64 GB, with SD slot for an expansion up to 32 GB.
The Sony S tablet has an 8 megapixel primary camera and 1 MP secondary camera. The device juice comes from a non-removable Li-Ion 6000 mAh battery. Now new tablet buyers can have the Sony Xperia Tablet S for only $350, at least until Feb 23rd according to Android Police.

Meanwhile, Xperia Tablet Z was unveiled in Japan last month. The new Sony tablet features a 10.1-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1200 p), boosted by Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2. There has been no announcement about an international release just yet, but the Xperia S price drop suggests Z buyers are not going to wait a long time.
The Tablet Z weighs only 495 g and measures 6.9 mm thin, making it the lightest and slimmest tablet today. Its 6,000mAh battery is helped by the Sony Stamina Mode technology for longer life.
