Sony Xperia Z Price: UK Store Reveals SIM-Free Cost, Initial Reviews Promising [VIDEO]
Sony Xperia Z price has been shrouded in mystery even after the smartphone unveiling at the 2013 CES event. It is understood marketing plans have been at play here, but a UK store has not been so tight-lipped. So, how much is the Xperia Z?

The latest flagship phone from Sony is expected to be available by March 2013. Gizmodo reported this schedule applies to Australia, among other countries. In the UK, the same schedule will apparently be observed, too.
Tech Radar reported having spoken to UK-based store Clove and the store revealed the SIM-free Xperia Z price tag will show £528 (AU$800). This price competes well with the cost of iPhone 5 in Australia. However, Aussie mobile stores and carriers have yet to reveal pre-orders and pricing arrangements.
Xperia Z measures 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm and weighs 140 grams. Its 5-inch full HD TFT capacitive touchscreen is brilliant at 1080 x 1920 pixels. Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 powers up the screen, which sports a pixel density of 440 ppi.

Xperia Z has 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage space, and a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro Quad-Core CPU. It boasts of a 13MP camera, which allows HDR technology in both photos and videos. The smartphone will initially run on Android 4.1.2. The life of its non-removable Li-Ion 2330 mAh is said to be extended by activating the Battery STAMINA Mode.
