Sony Xperia Z2, the latest Sony flagship smartphone, has highlighted some of its attractive features.

Here are its top 5 killer features:

Display

The Sony Xperia Z2 comes with a 5.2-inch screen, which is slightly bigger than Z1. The screen resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels and gives a 424 ppi pixel density. It uses an IPS LCD touchscreen, which is a big improvement over the TFT screens used in Xperia Z and Z1. The new display allows the users to view the screen from different viewing angles without compromising picture quality. The screen uses a shatter-proof and scratch-resistant glass.

Camera

Perhaps the most important factor in any Sony device is the camera and Xperia Z2 is no different. The device packs a massive 20 MP primary camera with Exmor RS camera sensor. The front-facing camera is 2.2 MP. The Sony Xperia Z2 has the ability to shoot 4k videos. Users will need to upgrade the internal memory using a Micro SD card to shoot long videos. Users may find the 16 GB internal storage of the device tends to fill up fast while shooting a 4k video.

Waterproof

Another strong feature of Sony Xperia Z2 is the waterproof feature. The device is not just water-resistant, like some of the other devices but also waterproof. The device can be immersed in about 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

PlayStation

One of the most appealing features on Sony Xperia Z2 for gaming enthusiasts is that the device is compatible with PlayStation 3's DualShock 3 controller. The DualShock 4 controller on the PlayStation 4, however, is not yet compatible.

Noise Cancellation

The Sony Xperia Z2 can be appealing to music lovers because of the noise cancellation feature on the device. The noise cancellation only works with compatible earphones, such as the ones which come along with the device.
