Sony confirmed previous speculations that it will not release its new flagship Smartphone Sony Xperia Z2 and its tablet version in the US. The much awaited gadget duo will hit the UAE market April 17, 2014.

Sony Xperia Z2 is making a buzz in the mobile world arousing curiosity if Sony's new flagship can truly compete with the more popular brands in terms of global sales such as Samsung and iPhone. However, releasing gadgets to go head on with Samsung Galaxy 5 and iPhone 5s is not only what the Japanese originated brand wanted to do.

Recently, Sony released a statement that they will release flagship products to be announced every six months. The goal is to snatch Blackberry's position in the mobile market and following the lead of Apple and Samsung.
