Sony Xperia Z4 To Arrive In Two Display Variants, Full HD (1080 p) And Quad HD (1440 p) And Improved Water Resistant Capabilities
The Sony Xperia Z4 is one of the most awaited smartphones of 2015. It will replace the Xperia Z3 that was released in September 2014. The flagship was not unveiled at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015, but fresh rumours claim that the handset may have been privately disclosed by Sony to carrier partners of the U.S. during the event. Fresh news about the handset reveals that it will be made available in two display variants.
According to G for Games that cites a Taiwanese ePrice source, the Sony Xperia Z4 will arrive in two display versions, one will include a full HD display supporting 1080 x 1920 pixels and the other will include a Quad HD display supporting 1440 x 2160 pixels. It further adds that the Quad HD Sony Xperia Z4 will be aimed towards the U.S. audience whereas the full HD version will come to selected markets.
G for Games also reveals that the Sony Xperia Z4 will come with enhanced water resistance capabilities. The Xperia Z4 won't need a protective flap cover for the microUSB port in order to prevent the water from seeping inside the phone. In addition to this, the handset will also come with enhanced front-facing camera. The handset is also expected to sport a very premium appeal with the arrival of a glossy metal frame around the edges of the device.
The Xperia Z4 will be shipped in different colours like blue. The Xperia Z4 like its predecessor model will sport a thinner and lightweight body, but it will still house a large battery.
GSMArena claims that a leaked Xperia Z4 photo had surfaced through an email in December 2014. In the image, the flagship Sony smartphone can be seen sporting a glossy metal frame. On the right frame of the device, it houses a camera shutter.
The alleged Sony Xperia Z4 specifications include a 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 810 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and Cat. 6 LTE connectivity. What do you think about Sony's moving in launching two separate display versions of Xperia Z4? Do let us know your thoughts by pouring in comments.
