The MWC 2015 event is scheduled between March 2 and March 5 in Barcelona, Spain. Many OEMs including Samsung, HTC and Sony will be unveiling their flagship handsets alongside other device during the MWC event. The upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 is reportedly one of the handsets waiting to be launched. Rumours and speculations surrounding this Z4 are quite rife and here is a list of reported features pertaining to the Sony’s mighty 2015 flagship Xperia Z4.

Interestingly, earlier reports pointed out that, the Xperia Z4 will be showcased in the upcoming James Bond movie, "Spectre." This device apparently features a metal and glass body that is synonymous to Sony’s premium-looking devices. If reports are true, the upcoming handset will be much slimmer and lighter than its predecessor and the company has worked hard to get rid of the wasted space surrounding the display. This is reportedly achieved by trimming the top, bottom and side bezels. Moreover, the upcoming device will allegedly come in four different colours namely white, black, blue and silver, says Phone Arena.

Based on the latest report, Sony could be releasing two models of the Sony Xperia Z4 with two different screen resolutions based on the region of release. Nonetheless, there is no confirmation on the display size at this point. Three different display sizes are being rumoured and they are 5.2-inch, 5.4-inch and 5.5-inch. Also when it comes to screen protection, the Xperia Z4 is expected to utilise the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 tough glass, opines the same site.

Under the hood, the Xperia handset could be powered by either a 32-bit Snapdragon 805 chipset or the 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset by Qualcomm. And the device will reportedly be backed by 3 GB of RAM configuration, similar to the predecessor. As far as the memory goes, the Sony Xperia Z4 will reportedly come equipped with 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage capacity. On battery, the device is expected to come with a solid 3,400 mAh unit.

Speaking of camera configuration, the handset is believed to sport a 21 MP Exmor RS IMX230 sensor with advanced mobile photography, phase detection, HDR, blur-free tracking, autofocus and 192 AF points. In addition, there will reportedly be a 5 MP unit at the front. On the other hand, the expected price range of the handset is set to be between $600 and $800, without a contract. Upon announcing the device in March at the MWC event, the Sony Xperia Z4 release date is expected to be in April or May, says Phone Arena.
