Special Update: William Levy 'Would Love to Star' in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" hype is far from over. With Universal studios far from releasing a cast, the web community is hyped on who among Hollywood's best would nab the lead roles. One other A-list celebrity who has expressed interest in the lead role of Christian Grey is William Levy.
Strutting his stuff on the dance floor of the highly-acclaimed television show, "Dancing with the Stars", William Levy is ready to bear more than his dancing shoes. The Cuban-born actor and model, William Levy, has been included in the list of potential actors who could play Christian Grey. The S&M role might be a bit too much for other stars so how would Levy react?
"If the opportunity comes for me to play this role, it would be amazing," said Levy in an exclusive interview with Celebuzz. "It's a great book...[and] every day I hear about it. I see the fans saying it all over.I would play it. I would love to do it. We've just got to see," continued the star.
Levy has in fact skimmed through the book and it has definitely given him an idea of the role fans ask of him to play. Dubbed as "People en Espanol's" Sexiest Man of 2011, baring a bit more than his noteworthy abs shouldn't be a problem for Levy.
"Girls would come up to me and say, 'You should play this! You should play this!" said Levy. "When I started reading it, I started looking at these girls in a different way, let me tell you. I was like, you want me to play this role? Oh man! Now I know how you are," added William.
However, if the role of Christian Grey doesn't fall into Levy's hands, the Cuban-born actor still has other film projects at hand. The "Dancing with the Star" is set to appear in Tyler Perry's romantic comedy flick. The filming is set in September and with that in the works, Levy is also set to in a sexy new ad campaign for Pepsi.
"I [am] a big fan of this drink," said Levy, adding, "It feels good to part of...Pepsi NEXT. I think I can do something good for it."
