"Spring Breakers" co-stars, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens are allegedly in a big fight over a little issue called publicity. A few tabloids have been pointing out that Hudgens has been anything but friendly towards Gomez simply over the issue of a magazine feature. How true are the rumors?

Working together in a film and coming from one well-known children's channel sure aren't big factors for Vanessa Hudgens to stop being pissed at Selena Gomez. So what's the big deal between the two which had caused an alleged rift?

Well, if anything, the media is to blame. However, for Hudgens, the actress says Selena Gomez's' connections particularly her famous relationship with teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber is the reason as to why she had been chosen as Vanity fair's 2013 cover. Star Magazine claims that Vanessa is "absolutely furious" and refuses to "let it go."

"Especially since she has a much bigger part in Spring Breakers than Selena does," says the source to Star Magazine, adding, "She's convinced that dating Justin Bieber is giving Selena the edge."

Given Justin Bieber's popular career, Vanessa Hudgens might just have a point. Yet, Selena Gomez was of course equally popular before Bieber even came into the picture.

"[Vanessa] has been saying that if she was still with Zac [Efron], she would have gotten into the magazine the same way Selena got in because of Justin," added the insider.

Ironically, Gomez had already been in countless films and had a pretty popular show even before Justin Bieber came around. As for Vanessa claiming her split with Zac Efron caused her popularity to dwindle, it sure isn't affecting Zac Efron's career. In fact, Efron has appeared in various advertisements and is set to star in a few more films.

Vanessa Hudgens simply sounds like a spoiled and rotten actress who simply didn't get things to go her way. Representatives of both sides still have failed to speak up on the issue. For now, fans of "Spring Breakers" can only hope that Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez manage to patch things up between them before the beg red carpet premiere in 2013.
