'Star Wars: Episode 8': Daisy Ridley leaks picture from production set
Daisy Ridley has leaked a picture from the production set of “Star Wars: Episode 8” online. The actress explained her logic for sharing the picture by stating that if director Rian Johnson is allowed to do it, she should be able to share pictures too.
The picture Ridley (Rey) shared on her Instagram page appears to be an old one taken at Skellig Michael in Ireland. The island stands in for the planet Ahch-To, on which her character was last seen in “The Force Awakens” along with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill).
“oooooh la laaaaaa, where could it be, what could it mean!” Ridley teased in her post. The actress did not reveal the location where the picture was taken. However, some of the fans suspect this to be from Ireland.

Meanwhile, Johnson has also shared a picture from the set. Just like the picture shared by Ridley, the one the director shared also doesn’t reveal anything about “Star Wars: Episode 8.” The picture shows Johnson standing with an umbrella, with clouds forming in the background.

Commenting on the post, one of the fans speculated that the filming of the movie may have wrapped. However, Hamill had previously revealed that the last day of filming would be July 22nd. The cast and crew, however, may have to return in the future for some reshoots if the director deems them necessary.
The first official news about the movie is expected to be released during the Star Wars Celebration event in London, which will be held between July 15 and 17. The trailer of the movie is not expected at the event, but the title and a teaser may be revealed.
“Star Wars: Episode 8” will be released on Dec. 15, 2017 in Australia. There won’t be any time gap between “The Force Awakens” and the upcoming movie. Johnson’s movie is expected to pickup from right where the previous movie left off, at Ahch-To.
