The cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," along with director J.J. Abrams, invaded “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday night. The show turned out to be a fun little preview of the film, as Abrams, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver and Carrie Fisher revealed several trivia about themselves and the upcoming movie.

The "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" stars unveiled some interesting tidbits from the film, including the fact that everyone had to memorise their lines during their audition process because they could not take the script out of the studio.

Driver confessed that although his character Kylo Ren wears a mask in the movie, he did not allow someone else to take his place and wear it for him. Meanwhile, Boyega who plays the character Finn, admitted that he did not tell his father immediately about being cast in the film.

"Oh my God!" Boyega said, while imitating his father in the special “Star Wars” episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!

"You are in Star Wars? That is fantastic! I knew it! What is Star Wars?" he added.

Abrams also spilled that the first word in the movie will be “This.” Although the production still has a couple of colour correction to be done, Abrams could not express the relief he felt after a long time of working in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Abrams admitted that he was reluctant at first to take the director's seat for this film. Thankfully, his wife Katie McGrath helped him make the decision. McGrath told the director that if he will pass up the offer, he'll probably regret it for the rest of his life.

While family and close friends of the filmmaker have already seen "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," he is still excited for the audience to see it. He insists that the film will be a lot of fun when watched with a huge crowd.

After the interviews, Kimmel brought in Arden Hayes, a seven-year-old "Star Wars" expert, to compete with the cast in a game segment he called "Ard-Wars." Arden was paired with R2-D2 against the cast and it was judged by Abrams.

Kimmel's episode with the “Star Wars” cast was a huge success. Deadline reports that the episode was watched by 3.291 million viewers. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be shown in theatres on Dec. 17 in Australia, New Zealand and the UK and on Dec. 18 in the US and Canada.
