More spoilers have been revealed ahead of the theatrical release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on Dec 18, 2015. This time, a report has shared some details regarding the initial IMAX sequences viewers may see for the film’s first act.

According to Jason Ward from Making Star Wars, the first few IMAX sequences in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will feature the Millennium Falcon being chased by TIE Fighters. It would also involve Finn (John Boyega), BB-8 and Rey (Daisy Ridley) since they would reportedly be on board the Falcon during the chase scene. “Later on in the film after Rey and Finn take their flight in the Falcon is where we get the IMAX sequence,” Ward said.

The chase scene will reportedly start in a salvage station in a desert planet with a “single sunset.” According to Star Wars Underworld, the chase scene probably takes place in another desert planet and not in Tatooine, since the latter reportedly has double sunsets. The salvage station is said to be where Rey meets Finn. Since Finn doesn’t know how to fly, Ward said the former Stormtrooper will be in the Falcon’s turret while Rey and BB-8 pilot the ship and try to evade the pursuing TIE Fighters. Ward claims there would be “a lot of banter between” Finn and Rey during the chase scene, which somehow shows that they don’t really know what to do to escape the enemy.

While the TIE Fighters continue to chase the Millennium Falcon, Rey questions Finn’s ability in hitting back at the enemy from where he’s stationed at the turret. Rey “asks Finn if he plans on ‘answering back,’” to which Finn would have no choice but to figure out for himself how to use the turret to actually hit one of the TIE Fighters. However, Rey manages to save themselves by manoeuvring the Millennium Falcon inside the crashed Star Destroyer she had salvaged, shielding them away from the TIE Fighters. The IMAX sequences, which Ward said makes up most of the first act of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” ends with the Millennium Falcon being swallowed by a huge ship in space.
