There is still no sign of Google Nexus 10 2 release date as Black Friday and Cyber Monday have already passed. Latest rumors claimed that Google will replace the 10-inch tablet with a smaller slate.

Last month, LG V510 tablet surfaced and it seemed the tablet was similar to LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. A new service manual emerged online recently showing some of the tablet's features such as 8.3-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixel, a 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM and a 4,600 mAh battery like the LG G Pad.

Last year, Google released the first generation of Nexus 10 tablet in October. Thus, the successor is already behind the schedule as both Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 were released in one year cycle. Reports pointed out that no Nexus 10 this year. In fact, Google might shift to a lesser screen device that sports 8 or 9 inch display.

This was not the first time that the rumored Nexus 8 appeared in the scene. A photo of the alleged Nexus 8 was spotted on the updated Android's "Apps & Entertainment" page last month. In the photo, a lady was holding a tablet that appeared to be neither Nexus 7 nor Nexus 10. The device was definitely running with Android 4.4 KitKat OS. However, Google quickly altered the photo and replaced with a Nexus 7 tablet.

Meanwhile, Nexus 8 is rumoured to pack an 8-inch LCD screen display with 1,200 x 1,920 pixel resolution. The device will be powered by quad core Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.7 GHz. It will also have a separate Adreno 320 graphics chip and 3MP back camera and 2MP front cam. It will run with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. Price starts at $199 for the 8 GB variant.

To the dismay of many waiting fans, Google still has not announced the Nexus 10 2 release date. Rumors claimed that Google Nexus 10 2 will pack an improved design and a boost on its specs and features. The tablet may pack a full HD display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, quad core Snapdragon 800 chip processor, 2 GB of RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, internal storage of up to 32 GB and Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Google Nexus 10 2 is speculated to follow the pricing strategy of its predecessor with the 16 GB variant that costs $399 and the 32 GB model costs $499.
