Actor Jared Leto poses backstage at the Hollywood Film Awards in Hollywood
It seems Jared Leto’s role as The Joker in “Suicide Squad” will take after the villain character in “The Dark Knight Returns” if the recent reports are to be confirmed. Likewise, few more descriptions of the character have been revealed along with some supposed scenes in the movie that shows Joker held captive inside the Belle Reve prison. Jared Leto is yet to reveal which take on The Joker he will portray in “Suicide Squad.” Whether he will be like Jack Nicholson or the late Heath Ledger in his portrayal remains unclear. However, the actor’s hairstylist recently teased what he may look like as Joker, through social media.

According to Screengonzo, it seems like Jared Leto may be more like Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero than Heath Ledger in his portrayal as The Joker in “Suicide Squad.” Recently, the actor’s personal hairstylist, Chase Kusero, teased that Leto may be going green for his role as The Joker in the David Ayer film, based on his latest Instagram post. A photo posted on the site and through DC Movies Facebook page shows some very green hair dye. On Kusero’s Instagram post, the photo was merely captioned “#chasehair,” while on the FB page it was labelled with, “Jared Leto's official hairstylist, Chase Kusero posted this to Instagram today. #skwad.”

Kusero’s Instagram photo has since received 2,018 likes with fans commenting it’s definitely Jared Leto’s hair colour as The Joker. User luvibi80 claims the colour is “badass” and perfectly fits Leto’s hair for his portrayal of the villain.

Likewise, the hashtag #skwad is something that movie director David Ayer has been using to promote his movie “Suicide Squad” through social media. So it’s likely that the green hair dye is something related to the film and will be used on Jared Leto’s scalp to complete his green Joker look.

Screengonzo claimed the green hair dye was part of a makeover test for Jared Leto’s The Joker look. The 30 Second to Mars frontman recently tweeted his goodbye to Toronto, where he said he’d left his beard and where he had chopped off his long hair. His tweet supposedly hinted he was in Canada for a makeover run through.

Further proof that Jared Leto will be sporting a green hair colour as The Joker is also hinted on the actor’s recent Instagram post. It shows Leto has dyed his hair platinum blond and according to IGN, the green dye will look better when paired with his blond hair instead of his usual brown-coloured hair.
