Nintendo Direct recently released an in-depth look at the upcoming Super Smash Bros 4 new characters, trophies and stages. Nintendo surprised everyone with the Super Smash Bros 4 trailer at the end of its Direct announcement. The trailer showcased the new playable Pokémon Charizard, gen 6's Greninja and Lucario in his mega form.
In the past, Super Smash Bros series has been known to bring characters across Nintendo catalogue of games to a single title. This time, that title will come in two different platforms, as reported in idigitaltimes.com.
Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U and 3DS Release Date
The Super Smash Bros 4 will launch at different periods across Nintendo's consoles. On the 3DS, the Super Smash Bros 4 will release this summer while on the Wii U version, it will be released this winter.

The upcoming levels on the Super Smash Bros 4 3DS will be the Spirit Train, Reset Bomb Forest and Rainbow Road. On the Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U, the Mario Galaxy, Pyrosphere and Boxing Ring stages will come. In addition to these new stages, every stage will have a Final Destination version which will allow veteran players to play on an even playing field.
