Demon Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) became an interesting character in "Supernatural" Season 10. However, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) is determined to stop the demon's partying and uncontrollable ways in his brother's body and bring back the old Dean Winchester in episode 3 titled "Soul Survivor."

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major spoilers on "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 3 titled "Soul Survivor."

Sam had a priest sanctify a lot of human blood bags in a hospital and then takes them to the Men of Letters bunker where he will cure his tied up demon brother Dean. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Hannah (Erica Carroll) are on their way to help Sam but Hannah is getting worried with Castiel's condition.

At the bunker, demon Dean makes his younger brother remember what he did when he was searching for him and Crowley (Mark Sheppard). "I know how far you went. Crowley told me all about it. So let me ask you, which one of us is really a monster?" demon Dean stated.

A flashback scene revealed Sam used Lester, Crowley's client that demon Dean killed in "Reichenbach," to summon a demon so he can fish for information and track down the King of Hell and his brother. However, things got out of hand when Lester, who was already at his lowest point because of his cheating wife, made a deal with the demon.

After receiving shots of sanctified human blood, Dean tells Sam that the process might be killing him. Sam calls Castiel to talk about what the curing process could do to Dean.

Castiel tells Sam that the treatment with purified human blood is the only way he knows to bring back Dean and Sam should be prepared for the outcome. As for Dean, the demon wants Sam to just stop because there is no point in bringing back his brother.

Castiel and Hannah had a break from their trip at a grocery and gas station where fallen angel Adina suddenly shows up to attack the pair to seek revenge for the death of Daniel, another fallen angel. The King of Hell, who found out about Castiel's condition through one of his minions, arrives at the gas station to help the badly injured Castiel.

Crowley slashes Adina's throat, takes her angel grace and kills her. "Why can't you people just sit on clouds and play harps like you're supposed to," Crowley stated. Crowley reveals that he wants Castiel to be strong enough to face demon Dean when the angel fixes the problem.

Back at the bunker, Sam gets more human blood to use in curing demon Dean but his brother has escaped. The cat-and-mouse chase between the brother after Dean explained that he was able to free himself from the cuffs and the devil's trap because he is now becoming more human, thanks to the blood that Sam injects him with.

"Don't you want to hang out with your big brother, spend some quality time?" Dean taunts as he searches for his brother with a hammer as his weapon. Meanwhile, Sam puts the bunker on lockdown and then traps demon Dean in the electrical room.

Sam and Dean finally faced each other after the demon hammered his way out of the electrical room. Sam places the knife on Dean's throat while Dean's weapon got stuck in the wall.

Demon Dean tells Sammy to go ahead and kill him but the younger Winchester could not do it so he lowers the knife. Demon Dean tries to attack Sam but Castiel arrives in time to subdue Dean and tell him that it is over.

Dean Winchester receives another shot of human blood and when Sam splashed holy water on his face, nothing happened. "Welcome back, Dean," Sam tells his brother. Afterwards, Castiel reminds Sam that they must still deal with the Mark of Cain. Sam acknowledges the issue but tells the angel that he will work on "one battle at a time."

Then, Castiel suggests to Dean that he should take some time off before heading back to his hunting work because "things" are currently "quiet" out there. However, the ending scene showed that things are not quite and going well in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A red-haired woman sitting on a chair and reading a book casually wipes off a drop of blood on her arm coming from the two male dead bodies that she has pinned up on the room's ceiling. "Supernatural" Season 10 will return with episode 4 titled "Paper Moon" which will air on Tuesday night, Oct. 28, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
