"Fans will be meeting a new angel in episode nine: Therat-faced Malachi, who is a street fighter of an angel who has managed to put together a sizable group of loyal followers. (Join or die is his kind of thing.) His goal? To start a war. Gulp!" the E! Online Spoiler Chat report reads.

"Supernatural" Season 9 is set to return on Tuesday, October 8, at 9/8c on the CW network and fans are now more excited than ever to find out what Sam, Dean, Crowley and Castiel will be up to in the TV fantasy-drama series' latest season. "I think this year's first three episodes of setting up our world are all pretty special. There may be certain moves that some of our characters make that some fans don't like, but I think they're going to understand them and it's really going to be driving the mythology," executive producer Robert Singer revealed at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con.

Additionally, actor Jensen Ackles who portrays character Dean Winchester gave fans a preview on the upcoming Season 9 during an exclusive interview posted on the "Supernatural" Facebook page. Mr Ackles particularly talked about the relationship between Sam and Dean in the brand new season.

"The brothers are back on each other's good side. They chose each other over closing the gates of Hell and I think that sends us into Season 9 with a sense of solidarity between the two of them," the actor stated in the interview. The Season 8 finale showed how Dean saved Sam's life after convincing the younger Winchester to stop completing the ritual with Crowley.

"The relationship between the brothers is really the thing that keeps this ball rolling. Whatever situation you put them in, whatever story you surround them with, that's really going to be the crux of everything that goes on," Jensen Ackles shared.

In "Supernatural" Season 9, Mr Ackles further revealed that Sam and Dean Winchester will be dealing with a new element that the brothers never had to deal with in the past. The actor teased: "There's no book, there's no journal that tells them how to deal with this kind of stuff."
