'Supernatural' Season 9 Spoilers: Castiel to Appear in Spin-Off Series 'Tribes' Pilot Episode 20? Misha Collins and Jared Padalecki React to TV Series' Season 10 Renewal
The "Supernatural" spin-off series "Tribes" will still focus on the hunting business but this time with a different setting. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) will be appearing in the "Supernatural" spin-off series pilot episode this Season 9, Episode 20 but how about Castiel? Actor Misha Collins, who portrays the angel, responds to the question.
Though CW's "Supernatural" spin-off series have a lot of similarities with its parent series, the Enstars report claims the angel character will not be involved in the upcoming TV series' Chicago plotline. "Yes there has [been discussion of that] and no, that won't be happening. I think it's designed to be very standalone so they're not going to be bringing a lot of characters in," Misha Collins revealed.
He further added: "The characters that are introduced in the episode will be the spinoff series characters but they're not going to be carrying characters that have had long arcs on Supernatural over into the new show." Castiel's battle with the fallen angels will be escalating in "Supernatural" Season 9 so the character already has a lot to deal with.
Mr Collins may not be appearing in the "Supernatural" spin-off series but the 39-year-old actor is celebrating with the renewal of the CW TV series for Season 10. According to the Carter Matt report, the CW network delivered the good news to the devoted "Supernatural" fans and the cast members that made Misha Collins and Jared Padalecki express their excitement on Twitter.

Jared Padalecki even joked on his Twitter account @jarpad that there is already a "Supernatural" Season 10 storyline. "Sam and Dean check into a retirement home, and NOT because it's haunted! #toooldforthis!" the 31-year-old actor posted.
As for Jensen Ackles, the actor celebrates the good news but without the use of social media sites since he is known to be not active when it comes to posting on Twitter or Facebook.
