Swiss Firm Introduces Equilibrium Luxury Brand Mobile Phone that Costs up to €110,000
Goldvish, a Swiss company, launched the Equilibrium mobile phone brand, to add to the firm's growing line of premium luxury cell phones that combine high-end technology and the known Swiss craftsmanship.
Equilibrium is a handcrafted phone made from exclusive materials such as 316L stainless steel which is used for jewellery and watches that will not oxidize or turn black. Other materials used to handcraft this luxury phone are space grade aluminium, titanium, Sapphire glass display, the finest leather and platinum, making this luxury phone scratch resistant and durable. It is optionally decorated with gold inlays.
The newly launched phone adds to the luxurious creations of Goldvish, which counts among its previous creations include the Revolution, Illusion and Le Million models of mobile phones.
The Revolution has a unique mechanical chronograph and the watch on this phone can be detached to function as a pocket watch. The Illusion is the first mobile phone in the world made from solid gold and studded with diamonds, while Le Million is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as both "the world's most exclusive and expensive cellular phone ever sold" at one million euro.
Equilibrium has two SIM card slots which allow owners to use both local line and the homeland's SIM when roaming, something which its rich owners would find very useful with their hectic travel schedule. It features a 2.4-inch display, 240X320 pixels and 2MP camera with video recording, digital zoom, and contact pictures capability. Other features are computer sync support, Bluetooth 2.0, media playback of basic audio and video types, speaker phone, voice dialling, FM radio, and 8 GB built-in memory. Its battery life lasts for 20 days in standby and 7 hours in talk time mode.
Goldvish's Equilibrium costs between 6,900 and 110,000 euro, and is available in Goldvish stores and selective multibrand watch and jewellery stores worldwide. The lower-cost model is made of stainless steel, while the upper-end has pave diamonds.
While techies are raving over the hi-tech features of newly launched smartphones of rivals Apple and Samsung, the rich and famous are probably looking the other way and placing their orders to Goldvish based on the carats of the Swiss firm's latest release.
