T-Mobile Rolls Out Hefty Android OTA Update For Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Plus T-Mobile Galaxy S6/S6 Edge Price And Availability Confirmed
T-Mobile has apparently rolled out a new OTA update for both Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. As reported, the update is quite sizeable at 177 MB. Furthermore, here is a list of pricing and availability details of the S6 handsets in the U.S.
OTA Update For Galaxy S6/S6 Edge
Android Central says, as per the change log, this OTA update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge comes with bug fixes, performance stability improvements and several feature enhancements. Upon receiving the OTA update, users should be able to see the build number UVU1AOCG. However, the important point to be noted is, the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge have not been released yet and therefore, Samsung and T-Mobile are proactive enough to package the new devices with the latest updates and fixes.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Price
According to CNet, T-Mobile is gearing up to offer the 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB Samsung Galaxy S6 versions for $679.92, $759.99 and $859.99, respectively. In the meantime, potential buyers can also avail the T-Mobile monthly instalment plan for $28.33 specific to the 32 GB model, $27.50 for the 64 GB version and $27.50 for the 128 GB variant for a total of 24 months. It is worth noting that, with this monthly instalment plan, buyers should also make a down payment of $99.99 for the 64 GB and 199.99 for the 128 GB Galaxy S6 variants.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Price
Speaking of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge price, T-Mobile’s 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB models will reportedly be priced at $779.76, $859.83 and $959.83, respectively. Under the 24-months instalment plan, the Galaxy S6 Edge can be availed for $32.49, $31.66 and $31.66 pertaining to the 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants, respectively. However, readers should note that, with the 24 monthly instalment plan, a down payment of $99.99 for the 64 GB and $199.99 for the 128 GB Galaxy S6 Edge variants should also be made, notes CNet.
