As the iPhone 5S gears its way to global markets on Sept 20, its purported chief rival, Google's Nexus 5, continues to attract numerous renderings, this time based on handset models attached with LG, Motorola and Nokia.

The first mock up was delivered by designer Deuxani, who according to Gotta Be Mobile is a forum member in The Verge. The visualisation is realistic enough as it follows the build and specs revealed via the recently leaked FCC document pertaining to an alleged LG G2 variant.

The same handset is believed as the likely template for the Nexus 5 mainly because it was LG which was responsible in delivering the mildly successful Nexus 4. True enough, Deuxani not only patterned his or her creation before the G2, traces of the Nexus 4 are very apparent on the concept.

As expected, the published G2 attributes will be served in this imagined device - headlined by a 5.2-inch LCD screen with 1080p resolution and the powerhouse to be taken care of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 chip, quad-core clocking to a top-speed of 2.3GHz.

The LG design also calls for 16GB and 32GB variants, 13MP main shooter and a massive new battery that promises longer staying power from the previous build.

But there is this persistent rumour that Motorola Mobility is building its own Nexus 5. Why not when the mobile device maker is already under Google's powerful wings?

These talks could have prompted Victor Monteiro to dream about the Motorola Nexus 5, which as the image suggests is quite different from the recently-released Moto X.

What will be unleashed, according to Concept Phones, is a stunning black beauty that seems to beam nothing on its front-face but the device screen, giving away a phablet-size display panel that stretches diagonally at 4.8-inch in Full HD rendering.

The clean-looking front portion of the device breaks only with the phone ear speaker at the top-centre part with the Motorola brand sitting near the edge. A 5MP front cam sensor is also found in the same panel, located at the far right-corner.

The bezels that normally surround gadget screen are virtually unseen.

Powering this Nexus 5 is a Snapdragon 800 CPU, spinning at 2.1GHz and tapping liberally on 3GB of RAM, relying too on a Mali 400 MP4 for its GPU engine. The 'Superman Phone', as Concept Phone calls it, is wrapped in a mixture of polycarbonate shell at the back and edge while Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the viewing window.

To record and capture cherished moments, this beast provides a 13MP main shooter and the files created can be kept on a capacious 128GB of internal memory.

This appears to be the ultimate Nexus 5 render?

Wait till you see the version coming from Stefano Zanetti, which is described by Concept Phones as Nokia-esque. "There's a slight Lumia vibe emanating from this phone and this model has thin, rounded edges," the same report said.

What's under the belly is virtually the same with that of the Motorola render except that it has a massive 3000mAh battery plus a microSD slot to swallow extra memory, which is wholly unusual in the Nexus device line.

The body configuration, as expected, departs too from the usual Nexus model - covered in metal but surprisingly providing some tinkering inside by making the back cover removable.

And to punctuate the Nokia Lumia signature, the device boasts of a 20MP as a rear camera. Other interesting specs are detailed in the images included.

Release date for the Nexus 4 is reportedly set by Google for Oct 31 this year and it is expected to debut with KitKat or Android 4.4.
