Taylor Kinney reveals Lady Gaga slapped him after awkward first kiss [Video]
Taylor Kinney recently talked about his first time meeting Lady Gaga and also about the first time he kissed her. The “Chicago Fire” star recalled his awkward first kiss with the singer that ended with a slap on his face.
Kinney talked about his first time meeting Lady Gaga on the set of her music video for “You & I” during a guest appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” on Wednesday. In the video below, the 34-year old recounted how he got slapped on the face after he intentionally kissed the singer. The kiss was reportedly uncalled for in the music video.
“I remember I went up, and we’re rolling, and I kissed her and she didn’t expect it. They cut, and she slapped me. And it was just awkward. And the next take, I just did it again and then she didn’t slap me. She didn’t slap me then,” he says.
Kinney adds he and Lady Gaga had a good time making her music video even though it was already a late shoot. He says they “were shooting until 4 or 5 in the morning.” The actor adds that he noted right away that he and Lady Gaga had chemistry. They even exchanged numbers thereafter and that’s how their relationship started.
“A few weeks went by and we kept in touch and then that’s that,” Kinney says when asked if he knew then and there that Lady Gaga was the one when they first met on the set.
The actor also talks about wedding plans with the “Bad Romance” singer during his appearance on “What What Happens Live.” However, as far as wedding preparations go, Kinney says he and Lady Gaga have been so busy to actually sit down and prepare for it. However, even though they have only been engaged for a year, he and Lady Gaga have reportedly already talked about whether they will have the wedding ceremony in Los Angeles or New York. Kinney adds they also don’t have an exact wedding date set yet.
Lady Gaga also previously didn’t reveal any exact wedding plans during an interview with E! News. However, she shared her excitement being engaged to Kinney.
