Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Show Their Fourth Of July Romance
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have yet to verbally confirm their relationship status. However, the new couple has been taking to social media to update fans of their love life.
Taylor Swift has been using her Instagram page to give fans a glimpse of her relationship with new boyfriend Calvin Harris. Recently, the “Blank Space” singer shared a photo of her and the DJ spending some quality time during the Fourth of July.
The photo shows Taylor Swift enjoying a piggy-back ride from Calvin Harris, as she affectionately leans in close to his ear. Taylor tagged Calvin Harris in the photo along with the caption, “Friendly relations between Scotland and America.” The post has since received over two million likes since the singer shared it on July 4.
Hello Magazine reports that the couple looked “loved up” as always as they celebrate the Fourth of July with their friends, including model Gigi Hadid and the Haim sisters. Taylor Swift also shared another Instagram photo where it shows her and Calvin Harris surrounded by their friends aboard an inflatable swan floating on the pool. The singer captioned the image, “Swan squad” and it has since gained over one million likes.
Although they have yet to verbally confirm their relationship status, Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift have each done their share of acknowledgement. The DJ had called Taylor “my girl” after the latter’s open letter to tech mogul Apple.
Now Magazine also noted how Taylor Swift had somehow proclaimed her love for Calvin Harris during her recent concert in Scotland. She appeared to have given a shout out to her boyfriend on stage at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena when she told the crowd, “Look at all of these amazing Scottish people in this room right now. I happen to love Scottish people, personally.”
The publication claimed that perhaps the singer’s Scottish heritage is one of the reasons why her relationship with Calvin Harris just keeps getting stronger. “My dad sent me an email. It said our whole family is from Scotland, so I evidently am one of you,” Taylor Swift revealed during her concert.
