'Teen Wolf' Season 5B spoilers: Scott and Stiles save Sheriff Stilinski, Theo determined to get a hellhound in premiere episode
The premiere episode of “Teen Wolf” Season 5B opened up with a bang, with good and bad things happening to the beloved characters in the hit MTV series. Here are some of the interesting things that happened in the premiere episode.
[Spoiler Alert! This feature contains major spoilers on “Teen Wolf” Season 5B, episode 11 titled “Last Chimera.”]
The episode started off with Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) with a hole in the head, lying on a bed at Eichen House with Dr. Valack (Steven Brand). The doctor was very interested in Theo (Cody Christian) and why the Dread Doctors chose him. It was Lydia who discovered that Theo let his sister die because he needed her heart. Dr. Valack explained that a heart transplant would have made Theo a genetic chimera. Theo and his pack of chimeras then appeared in Eichen House looking for Lydia.
Scott (Tyler Posey) was still recovering from his fight with Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) at the McCall house. After putting on a bandage to cover up his bloody wound, he tried to move forward but collapsed just outside his bedroom. Meanwhile, Parrish, played by Ryan Kelley, had a vision which featured him and Lydia in a steamy shower. Lydia told him that someone was dying, which had him jolting awake.
He headed off to look for Lydia and found her nearly comatose in the woods. He also found an omen in the form of a rock that had a Sheriff’s badge carved on it, which Lydia had drawn using her fingernails. Parrish took her to the McCall house where he tried to wake Scott to ask for help. The two then brought Lydia to the hospital.
Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) was also at the hospital fighting for his life while his son Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) waited anxiously for his father to get better. When Scott went to find Stiles, the two got into a major fight, with Stiles questioning his ex-best friend where he had been.
Scott then broke the bad news that Lydia was hurt, which had Stiles rushing off to Lydia’s side. Unfortunately, Lydia’s mother kicked him out of the hospital room while Stiles screamed at her, telling her to check Lydia’s head. She did and decided to send Lydia to Eichen House where she thought her daughter would be safe.
The “Teen Wolf” Season 5B premiere episode also featured a confrontation between Theo and Stiles, where Theo stated that he wasn’t the bad guy and told Stiles that he knows what Parrish is. The episode also had Scott and Stiles working together to save Sheriff Stilinski. Stiles eventually discovered that his father was being poisoned by a piece of bone from a chimera. Sheriff Stilinski survived and woke up with Stiles beside him on the hospital bed.
Another interesting thing that happened in the “Last Chimera” episode was Theo’s hunt for a hellhound. Theo and his band of chimeras went to Eichen House to get Lydia, but it wasn’t actually the injured banshee that Theo was really hoping to have. He told Dr. Valack that what he really wanted was a hellhound. The episode ended with Parrish’s arrival at Eichen house, all ready to confront Theo and his chimera pack with his fiery hellhound fury.
The next episode of “Teen Wolf” Season 5B titled “Damnatio Memoriae” will air in the US on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 9/8c on MTV.
