Telstra Australia posted the latest software update list scheduled for November and December 2014 for several smartphones including HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z2. It also includes important details such as status and features.

Telstra expects to release official software updates for Sony Xperia Z2 and ZTE T83 for November 2014. Software update for Sony Xperia Z2 has been approved and waiting for deployment with expected release date on Nov. 21 featuring the support for Sony PlayStation 4 Remote Play, High Resolution Audio and Mirror Link 1.1. Firmware upgrade for ZTE T83 has been approved in Nov. 11 and scheduled to be released on Nov. 24. No additional details have been noted by Telstra for both smartphones.

Telstra did not specify the Android versions coming to these devices and what "platform update" means exactly. Information and Terminology web page of the carrier regarding software updates noted that minor updates are typically scheduled for one round of testing while major updates are usually scheduled for two rounds but somewhat flexible.
