Thanksgiving 2014 is just around the corner. It is always celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November and this year, it falls on Nov. 27, 2014. Aside from preparing for Thanksgiving dinner and Black Friday 2014, we should also keep in mind what we are actually thankful for. It's usually a good idea to list it down so we won't forget about it. But, what are the things people are most thankful about? Twitter reportedly conducted a study about what Americans are most thankful for. Read on to find out more about it.
According to Real Simple, Twitter checked out the tweets of their users since Jan. 1, 2014 and they found out that the phrase "I'm thankful for..." was followed with the words "friends," "family," "everyone" and "You." These are the Top 10 things Americans are most thankful for in 2014, which is perfect to remember on the upcoming Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 27, 2014. It's refreshing to know that in this day and age, which is filled with materialism, technology and an overabundance of gadgets, a lot of Americans still value people over things. The Anthony J. D'Angelo quote "The most important things in life aren't things" rings true here.
