Harry Styles of One Direction definitely gave his fans an eye full when he shared an old photo on Twitter. While "Directioners" are used to Styles' crazy antics, Harry's latest post puts the thong in "thong"-tastic. So what's up with the golden thong in Harry Styles' throwback Thursday post?

The One Direction is known to show off the craziest antics in the British boy band. It's not surprising that the 19-year old singer would go on ahead and post a hilarious photo of him ironing his pants. While the upper part of the photo doesn't quite grab the attention, it's the lower hald that has got fans of the 1D singer squealing.

Taken during Harry's stint on "The X-Factor" back in 2010, the photo shows that of Styles ironing his shorts while in his golden skivvies. Harry is known to not care about showing off more than he should and it won't be shocking if Harry proceeds to exposing more than just his golden thong the next time he posts a photo.

Yet, why did Harry opt for the sparkly underwear? Surely, with all the dough the One Direction boys are racking in, Harry would have the money to purchase ordinary and decent looking briefs. Well, the golden brief in the photo is simply Harry's way of livening up the party.

"My favourite party trick is to wear nothing but a gold thong in the house," stated Harry in an interview with the Daily Star back in 2010, adding, "My friend bought it for me for my birthday. The Belle Amie girls say I prance around the house in it. I'd say it's more of a slow, gentle stroll."

As of this week, Harry wasn't the only One Direction member to have shown off on the social networking site, Twitter. Horan, who has been dubbed the "baby" off the group, proved he isn't a baby no more with his latest shirtless photo on Twitter.

The boys of One Direction definitely know how to keep their fans entertained on a weekly basis. With the boys film "This Is Us" set for a release this summer, "Directioners will surely get loads more of the boys in shirtless scenes. For now, Harry Styles in his golden thong will certainly suffice.
