Titanfall Vs. Battlefield Hardline: No More Xbox One Bundle; EA Releases More Screens
It had been a run for the "Titanfall" Xbox One Bundle that cost $500, but this offer has officially expired, as Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed.
At $500, the "Titanfall" title, Xbox One system, Kinect 2.0 and one-month subscription to the Xbox Live Gold were previously offered. According to GameSpot, there may still be remnants of the bundle on eBay or other third-party sellers on Amazon, but as far as retailers are concerned, including Microsoft's store, the "Titanfall" Xbox One bundle is no more.
However, there are still some good news for fans, as Respawn Entertainment announced the launch of the Frontier's Edge DLC for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
The latest expansion for "Titanfall" will bring in three maps. There's Dig Site, where rock walls will be a protection from air assaults though narrow paths now become your enemy. In Export, you have close-quarters combat at your disposal and titans aimed to create choke points. Haven brings a beach resort near a crater lake where you can have titans attacking the high life of galleries and restaurants.
Frontier's Edge is out for $9.99 except for those with Season Pass for "Titanfall," as it's already included in the bundled content packs, according to the official "Titanfall" website.
'Battlefield Hardline' Screens Hit The Net
On the other side of the shooter games, Electronic Arts has released a few screens of its 2015 cops and criminals title "Battlefield Hardline."
After the developers have detailed a few of their plans for the competitive multiplayer aspect of the title, the screens give a glimpse of what can be seen in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
IncGamers has compiled the released screens, and according to the report, the screens showcase a number of scenarios from "Battlefield Hardline" single-player campaign. There are also some vehicle scenes that can be found in the Hotwire mode and some shots of the Rescue mode.
So far, these are the only ones that have been shown off at Gamescom, though the developers did say that the delay for "Battlefield Hardline" is much needed to make the game an even better one.
Expect more screens in the upcoming months leading to the release date, which is still dated for a vague March 2015. "Battlefield Hardline" is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
