Months after the launch of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, publisher ActiVision is officially launching the last-gen version of the game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Last October, the publisher announced that it was holding back the last-gen version of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” as it intended to focus on the issues plaguing the current-gen versions.

Fans of the franchise can start playing the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3,” starting Dec. 15, Eurogamer reports. However, the release date is only for the North American region of the game, and there is currently no word as to when other regions will receive the game.

The US PlayStation store will begin selling digital and retail version of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” for the PlayStation 3. Meanwhile, Amazon will begin selling a physical version of the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions of the game as well.

Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5” are still subjected to a few glitches even after a massive update released last November. However, there have already been a lot of improvements to the game as compared to the launch version, which was plagued with a ton of performance issues.

The massive 7.8 GB update released last November, PlayStation LifeStyle reports also brings in a lot of new content to “Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5.” The update added a much-anticipated Create-A-Park feature, new areas and new characters including Tyler the Creator and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As for gameplay changes, the update revamped several gameplay mechanics within the levels. Grinds were also updated in some areas. There was not much focus on fixing the bugs with the update and hopefully, developer Robomodo will fix the issues soon.
