Apple users can update their iDevices via over-the-air or through iTunes.
iOS 7 boasts new design and features including the new iTunes Radio, which is the expanded version of iTunes and served as new the music streaming feature of Apple. Comes in the new Control Centre that put your often used features and apps on the front for easy access.
Below are the top 10 tips and tricks in the new iOS 7 that every user should know.
Block Callers - Users can now block calls, which is a great way to avoid unwanted phone calls. Just go to a contact's entry and scroll down to the bottom and select "Block this Caller" to block a certain number or contact.
Gesture Controls on Safari - Users can now navigate in Safari swiftly. Swipe to the right and see your previously visited pages and swipe to the left to move forward.
Spotlight - Spotlight is the iOS feature to search for the contents on your iDevice. To access spotlight, swipe from the middle of your screen downwards.
Control Centre - Control Centre is one of the newest features in iOS 7. Swipe up from the bottom of the display to access the Control Centre. Through this, you have immediate access to often used toggles.
Restrict Apps in Eating Data - Users can now block apps from eating away the data plan. Go to Settings> Cellular then scroll down and see the option to toggle on and off which apps can use your valuable data plan.
Add More Security - Aside from the new fingerprint sensor, users can add more security in their Apple device through the passcode feature, which is on the Settings> General and by selecting Passcode Lock. Through this, you can lock your device with a passcode or a PIN.
New Siri Abilities and Features - Aside from a new voice, Siri can now help you listen to a voice mail or be used to return a missed phone call. To make a request, simply open Siri with a long press on the home button.
Mail - E-mails inside of the Mail app can now be flagged, or marked as read or unread in a few simple steps. All you have to do is to click on the "Edit" button at the top right-hand side of the screen, then choose "Mark All" option in the lower left-hand corner. A popup window will then appear that will give you the option to either Flag e-mails or mark them all as Read or Unread.
Burst Mode - To take burst shots, simply press down the camera shutter and the camera will take 10 photos in succession.
Adjust Text - You can adjust the size and font of the text in your device to make it more readable. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and toggling the Bold Text option into the on position.
