The iPhone 6 rumours continue to grow as the speculated September 10 release date nears, suggesting the new iPhone may include some high tech features.

One of the significant changes that we may see is on the iPhone 6 screen. Last year, Apple increased the screen size of the smartphone to 4 inches, showing that the company is open in enlarging the screen size of its devices. It is expected that Apple will further increase the screen size of the upcoming iPhone 6.

Apple may be working on a wraparound screen display. The company applied for a patent for wraparound screen that is similar to the 4th generation of iPod Nano. This revolutionary feature is a key for further enlarging the screen size without increasing the size of the iPhone. The patent includes facial recognition, gesture control and screen layering in order to obtain a 3D effect.

Another iPhone 6 feature that consumers should watch out for is the TV projector. According to reports, this feature will enable users to connect the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to their television set or projector.

This resembled the iPhone 6 concept created by YouTube user Sonitdac that shows a rendered "iPhone 6" with both ends snapping off. The device projects a keyboard and trackpad onto the desk in front of the phone. There is also a functional Mac cinema display on the wall. See the video below.

Lastly, a sonar may replace the iPhone's infrared sensors. An Apple patent resembled sonar technology. Apple's invention for "Passive proximity detection" will replace the IR sensor of the iPhone. The new technology will detect and process soundwaves in order to determine the proximity of an object from the device.

The iPhone 6 release date is expected to happen on September 10 this year or early next year. However, it is expected that a cheaper iPhone will be released before the iPhone 6.

Rumour has it that the iPhone 6 features will include A7 quad core processor with 3 GB RAM. iOS 7 is expected to bring new features in the handset like the rumoured fingerprint sensor on the home button as well. Consumers can benefit from the large internal storage of the iPhone 6 that is rumoured to come up to 128 GB. The iPhone will also boast a longer battery life.
