Top 3 Reasons to Wait and Buy the Samsung Galaxy S6
Apple's iPhone 6 series may be winning in sales but Samsung appears intent on stepping up to challenge with more killer features expected from the Galaxy S6. According to The Motley Fool, Samsung will be including faster LTE speeds, faster Wi-Fi transfer rates and more energy efficient capabilities on its upcoming flagship.
LTE Capacity
For the LTE capabilities, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 defeated the two iPhone 6 models offering twice the speed of the Qualcomm MDM9625 LTE-Advanced modem. Looking at Samsung's track record, the Galaxy S6 will run with the same or a more improved version of the LTE most probably category 9 LTE-Advanced speeds. This offers a download speed of 450 megabits per second and upload speed of 50 megabits per second.
Energy Efficiency and Memory
Apple's iPhone 6 Series offered just a gigabyte of memory. However, Samsung's Galaxy S5 came with two while the Galaxy Note 4 came with three. According to a recent leak (via The Motley Fool), the Galaxy S6 may come with three gigabytes running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. More importantly, the S6 is also expected to sport the next-generation LPDDR4 memory offering impressive power efficiency gains better than the LPDDR3.
Move to Metal Design
Several reports say that Samsung will finally adopt the metal casing even further with the Galaxy S6. The design will be similar to its approach with the Galaxy S5. To support this, designer Hass T published a render (via Christian Today) hinting Samsung's farewell to the plastic casing and its move to a more sophisticated and higher end initiative. According to the render, the upcoming flagship may sport a brushed titanium and aluminum surface to emphasize the premium look.
The concept image also comes with a fresh hexagonal-shaped speaker at the bottom part. Other reported specs include a Super AMOLED screen display sporting quad HD technology found in the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and the Note 4, alternative Exynos 7 SoC with 64-bit support and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
