A new rumor emerged online claiming that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may feature larger internal storage and two SIM and SD card slots.

The new phablet from South Korea tech giant Samsung is expected to pack a lot more storage compared to its predecessor - Galaxy Note 2. The former could get as big as 128GB of internal storage at par of that of iPad 4.

Currently, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants, which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD slot.

There are also whispers that the Galaxy Note 3 will have two expansion card slots for a number of reasons. One of these is to expand storage for videos and other files, although others would like to have two slots to allow one that stays inside all the time for apps and another for media files.

Lastly, there is a rumor that the Note 3 will include dual SIM feature. Many consumers wished for the dual SIM feature as many clones and low-end smartphones offer this feature. Some commenters claimed that this feature will benefit people who like to travel in another country.

A report claimed that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be released on September 4, which is ahead of the IFA event in Berlin.

According to tech website Android Geeks, Samsung will apparently send out invites to the media sometime in August for a Samsung Unpacked event that will take place on September 4. This strategy is similar to the one Samsung employed to the Galaxy Note 2 - Samsung held an Unpacked Event where the phablet was unveiled right before IFA 2012 kicked off. IFA 2013 is schedule to run from Sept. 6 to Sept. 11.

Some of the rumored specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are: 6.3-inch Full HD screen display; unbreakable, flexible screen; 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor chip; stylus And finger hovering feature; Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie OS; 16 megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI and 3 megapixel front camera with 'Best Photo,' 'Best Faces,' low light show and BSI; 32, 64 and 128 GB internal memory options expandable storage via microSD cards; 4,000 mAh Li-on battery.

However, Samsung's spokesperson said that the company does not comment on rumors.
