The new Mac Pro 2013 release date is set in December according to the special Apple Event. It was introduced alongside the refreshed iPad line, MacBook Pro 2013 and OS X Mavericks.

The Mac Pro 2013 offers a radical design that has a new form factor and improved performance, graphics, memory and expansion capabilities. It was first introduced during Apple's Worldwide Developers' Conference in June where Apple showed off the Mac Pro trailer.

The Mac Pro 2013 price starts at $2,999 for a 3.7GHz quad-core Xeon model with 12GB DRAM, Duel FirePro D300, 2GB VRAM each video memory and 256GB SSD.

This is the first Mac Pro assembled in the U.S. This version of Mac Pro is energy-efficient and environment-friendly and will be shipped in December.
