Top 5 Rumored Games For 2014: PS4’s Crash Bandicoot, LEGO The Hobbit, Super Smash Bros., Gran Turismo 7 And Assassin’s Creed
With the year capping off to a close, there have already been some rumors for games that could possibly debut in 2014. There are those that border on pure rumors, including Crash Bandicoot on the PS4, the two Assassin's Creed games and LEGO The Hobbit, while there are those like Super Smash Bros. and the next Gran Turismo installment, which have already been hinted by their developers.
Crash Bandicoot on PS4?
Potentially, one of the games with a still pretty big following is Crash Bandicoot and the hype for the game has just strengthened after the rumor that it may be brought back to the PlayStation franchise, specifically the PS4, erupted. While the latest update here is that Activision has not yet sold the franchise, even with the surprising fact that there are no traces of Crash Bandicoot on Activision's Web site, Game Informer said there may be hope to see it as a game in the future.
An Activision representative said in a statement quoted by Game Informer, "Activision owns Crash Bandicoot and we continue to explore ways in which we could bring the beloved series back to life."
Super Smash Bros.
Rumored for spring 2014 release date is Super Smash Bros., according to Nintendo Germany General Manager Bernd Fakesch.
GamingBolt reported the timeframe is set to spring 2014 release date, which falls in the same time as Mario Kart 8. While the release date is mostly a rumor for now, there are other reveals for Super Smash Bros., including characters from Pokemon, Majora's Mask and even Zelda.

LEGO The Hobbit
While 2014 will also welcome The Lego Movie, the upcoming adventure comedy film featuring the yellow people of the favorite childhood game, there are also rumors of the LEGO franchise extending to a different platform.
Kotaku has found an image online that shows off a possible LEGO The Hobbit game, which is based on The Lord of the Rings characters from J.R.R. Tolkien. According to the image, it will be coming to many platforms, including the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U, and 3DS. However, there are no confirmations yet from the listed developer Tt Games or publisher Warner Brothers Interactive.

Gran Turismo 7
Gran Turismo 6 has recently been released and given how rave reviews are currently assaulting the game--from the realistic settings, the cool, cool cars, the intricate details, and the sometimes passable next-gen look and feel--it's a game that will last for quite a while before the need for the next installment.
US Gamer said despite its flaws and trivial misgivings, it's one of the best driving games out there, fitting to carry on the Gran Turismo franchise. News of the next installment has been leaked to fans.
According to Mirror, some reports pointing to a statement from developer Polyphony Digital has pegged the release date for the Gran Turismo 7 in 2014.
"We don't want to take too long on Gran Turismo 7. Best-case scenario? Next year," Kazunori Yamauchi, CEO of Polyphony Digital, said in a statement quoted by Mirror.
However, other sources like PS4 Daily has pegged the Gran Turismo 7 release date to 2015. This may be due to the possible porting of GT 6 to the next-gen PS4, which could potentially also be dubbed as GT 7.

2 Assassin's Creed Games
As though one Assassin's Creed game is not enough to follow 2013's Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, the latest rumor for Ubisoft's annual game is that there will be two for 2014.
Metro reported an anonymous source from supposed Ubisoft insider has said the two games will be specialized depending on the generation of console. Whether this means that the two games only really pertain to having a current-gen and next-gen ports of the same game, or if there will be a different approach for the game that will debut for the Xbox 360 and PS3 compared to the one coming to the PS4 and Xbox One, remains to be announced.
