Some of the features of the Samsung Galaxy S4 have been confirmed before its imminent launch in March 14.

An expert said that Samsung must use an innovative hardware design, when it launches the Galaxy S4 in order to stay ahead of the race.

Mobile devices expert Charles Golvin says Samsung must continue to innovate in hardware design "in order to maintain success."

He also predicted that the device could introduce front-facing speakers for the first time as Samsung seeks to improve the overall audio quality on the S4.

"Samsung has been at the forefront in terms of specs, and I expect that will continue. It's not clear whether the S4 will carry Samsung's octo-core processor or a Qualcomm quad core, but I expect a combination of processor, 2 GB RAM minimum, and expanded battery to provide high performance with extended battery life," Golvin said.

Samsung sent a cryptic message hinting the release of the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 on March 14. The invite drops clues that the Galaxy S4 is indeed the smartphone that will be unveiled on the unpacked event.

Full HD, Flexible Screen Display - The Galaxy S4 will feature a full HD 1080p display but it is not clear if Samsung will use the 4.99-inch FHD display with 1080p resolution using Super AMOLED technology. It is rumored that Samsung will use the SoLux Display with LCD technology but it is not confirmed.
  2. Eight Core Processor - The Samsung Galaxy S4 will indeed pack the new Exynos octa-core processor unveiled at the recently concluded CES 2013 last January clocked at 1.8GHz, along with the obligatory serving of 2GB RAM.
  3. Androidv4.2 Jelly Bean OS - The upcoming smartphone from tech giant Samsung will surely run with the latest Android Jelly Bean OS.
  4. 128GB Internal Storage - Rumour has it that the GS4 will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants. However, some reports claimed that the device will boot 128GB internal storage just like the upgraded iPad 4.
  5. Eye Scroll Technology - A benchmark from Samsung leaked online that hinted that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 will include a smart feature of eye scroll technology.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is also rumoured to feature an Exynos 5 Octa (8-Core) CPU, Mali-T678 (8-Core) GPU, 4.99″ SuperAMOLED Full HD Resolution Display, 2GB of RAM, 13 Megapixel Rear facing Camera capable of shooting 1080p Full HD Videos at 30FPS, 2 Megapixel front facing camera capable of shooting 720p HD Videos and run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
