It may still be early to reminisce the top hits of last year when the new year is just about to start. However, it is still not too late to play back these songs that have not turned old and have successfully earned a lot during 2011.

Check out these songs below with their videos and quick descriptions:

LMFAO - 'Party Rock Anthem'

Just by the look of it, one would surely notice that this group is trying to ride the same waves started by the Black Eyed Peas. This created much appeal to those who love listening to novelty dance songs that are not too old school and has enough modern twist in its sounds.

Gotye - 'Somebody That I Used To Know'

This song truly made a bull's eye hit with those who are especially in search of a good song about relationships, and how many wear masks when still in its initial phase. Another message that this song suggests is the understanding beyond the imperfections.

Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera - 'Moves Like Jagger'

This may not have the legendary tones and the gritty sound of the classic Rolling Stones band, but it has all the smoothness fans are after. It is just about the moves of Jagger, after all. It is interesting though that Adam Levine wears a shirt which says 'Who The F*ck Is Mick Jagger.'

Adele - 'Someone Like You' and 'Rolling in the Deep'

Can anyone else beat Adele for the hits she made last year? With the big vocal presence that Adele is capable of projecting and with all the authority and soul, the singer does not even need any kind of instrument to back her up.
