Trump says media is ‘out of control,’ clarifies he’s not raving
US President Donald Trump has stated in a White House news conference that he will deliver his message straight to the people as the media is “out of control.” The leader of the free world has spent the first few minutes of his conference discussing matters about the media, saying so much of the news is fake but clarified that he is not ranting and raving.
“Tomorrow, they will say: 'Donald Trump rants and raves at the press,'" Trump said. But he has clarified that he is not ranting and raving because he actually loves it and he’s having a good time.
“I'm just telling you. You know, you're dishonest people,’ he added.
Trump said he is making the presentation directly to the people of America with the presence of the media. He came up with the resolution because he believes that many of the country’s reporters and folks will not tell the truth.
Trump had specifically slammed the leaks to the press from the intelligence community. Michael Flynn, the president’s former national security adviser left his post on Monday night after the press has exposed that he may have improperly engaged in talks with Russia’s ambassador.
"The leaks are real. The leaks are absolutely real. The news is fake because so much of the news is fake," Trump exclaimed.
He has also addressed latest issues concerning his executive order on immigration that bans citizens from seven Muslim countries from entering the United States. Trump believes that the travel ban had a very smooth roll out, but the issue is that the US has a bad court. “But we had a bad court," Trump said.
"We had a bad decision, that is the only thing that is wrong with the travel ban,” he explained. To ensure that the new executive order can legally go into force, the president said a new executive order would be tailored to the court's ruling.
Furthermore, the 45th US president said his administration is “running like a fine tuned machine.” He has pointed that there had “never been a presidency that’s done so much’ in such a small period of time.”
He has also mentioned in his latest press conference that a promised wall on the Mexican border is already in the works. Trump has assured that it is going to be a great wall which will be negotiated by him. “The price is going to come down, just like everything else I’ve negotiated for the government,” Metro has quoted him saying.
