Twitter Updates to New Look This Week
Twitter users will have no choice but to upgrade to the new version of the social media service after the company announced that it will be retiring the old version.
A year after the launch of the New Twitter and it is only now that the social media service is finally going to retire the old look. Twitter has been warning users that they will eventually have to upgrade to the new Twitter.
"If you're currently using Old Twitter, we want to let you know that you'll be upgraded to New Twitter this week," the company announced in a tweet.
The new interface resembles a web app and integrated multimedia into the stream. Twitter has several partnerships with other multimedia companies like DeviantArt, Flickr, Photozou, Twitgoo, Twitpic, TwitVid and YouTube. It has also integrated Twitter clients like Tweetie, Seesmic Desktop and TweetDeck to become a part of the default Twitter interface.
