Two-year-old boy caught on cam as he rescues twin from fallen drawer
A two-year-old boy is now the newest online sensation after a video of him saving his twin brother finds its way to the Internet. The clip, which has now gone viral, was posted by a proud dad from the US.
In the clip, the brothers seemed to be having a good time until a chest of drawers fell on one of them. The other boy was quick to help his twin brother.
Ricky Shoff, a Utah resident, posted the clip on Facebook on Jan. 2. He said he shared the clip in order to bring awareness to other parents.
“I’ve been a little hesitant to post this,” Shoff wrote. “But I feel it’s not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible.”
The clip was filmed through a camera installed in the twins’ nursery. The pair, Bowdy and Brock, were trying to climb the drawers. But it toppled over and almost crushed one of the twins.
But Bowdy served as his twin’s hero. It can be seen in the clip that he was looking for ways to move the furniture off Brock. Bowdy managed to push the drawers off his brother after almost two minutes.
Brock rolled out and stood up.
“We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And we feel blessed that he is ok,” Shoff further stated on his Facebook post.
Shoff and his wife, Kayli, told CBS Salt Lake City affiliate KUTV that they were not aware that the chest of drawers fell. It was only when they saw the footage that they learned about what happened.
The clip has now earned more than 3,000 shares and likes. Hundreds of Facebook users have commented. Some netizens have expressed dismay about why the kids were left unattended in the first place. Others are just so happy to see an angel saved another angel.
