Updated: The project is now live on Kickstarter.

How about a small, portable device that serves the purpose of storage, media center and charging for business and pleasure trips? Well, U+ can do all of that.

It’s an all-in-one wireless storage device that works seamlessly as a media centre and external charger. The device is fully integrated by an app through Wi-Fi.

The wireless device works as a unique power bank with a massive 4000mAH battery. This allows the power docking station to charge any mobile phone. It can run continuously for 12 hours with 20 hours standby time. Users can make use of the gadget through device-to-device direct Wi-Fi connection with no external data required.

The device also has a built-in 1080P high definition video decoder to ensure smooth video playing. It supports mainstream video playing in multiple file formats, including MP4, MOV, AVI, RMVB and MKV.

Moreover, the easy-to-use selfie button will also enable users to click selfies effortlessly. Users can save and transfer images from any smartphone running on both iOS and Android to iPad, tablet PC or PC.

Over the last two years, the Leap Gadget team formed in 2013 researched and developed the device that’s entirely controlled by an app. U+ is powered by Qualcomm’s central processing unit and Samsung’s DDR II RAM. The device comes in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage capacity options.

Up to five users can watch movies simultaneously; listen to music and access related media content streamed through U+. It can light up the world of all family members on a road trip with each one digging into their preferred content.

The all new powerful gadget can be a good travel companion for business users. The high-speed Universal Flash Storage delivers high quality performance for professional users and ensures instant transfer of files and easy access to business files.

U+ is now up on Kickstarter, the popular funding platform for innovative and new projects. Users can now find enough space to save their favourite videos, music and documents in a small and portable device.
