A limited edition artbook and steelbook case are just some of the noteworthy items coming with the new special edition “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.” Sony has just unveiled the special bundle that will debut exclusively for specific regions, including Australia and New Zealand.

The special edition comes with a lot of items, including the 48-page artbook titled “Art of Uncharted Trilogy,” PlayStation Blog revealed. This includes select concept art from first three “Uncharted” games; “Drake’s Fortune,” “Among Thieves” and Drake’s “Deception.”

Aside from the jam-packed art book, the Nathan Drake Collection special edition will also include a steelbook case and a sticker sheet. Currently, the special edition has only been confirmed in a number of areas. The special edition will launch on Oct. 7 for Europe, Australia, New Zealand, while the United Kingdom and Ireland will get their hands on the limited edition on Oct. 8. As of now, pricing and a release for North America has not been announced.

Ramping up the hype even more, developer Naughty Dog recently revealed some new information and game mechanics to SKNR. Naughty Dog revealed that protagonist Nathan Drake will be exploring the world of Madagascar alongside its locales. But the developer reassured fans that this will be just one of the locations in the game. As seen in previously released footage, particularly the jeep chase scene, “Uncharted 4” provides a vast explorable landscape and equally destructible environments.

In line with this, Naughty Dog also revealed that this year’s title will involve improved and significantly new movement mechanics. Compared to previous titles, “Uncharted 4” will feature a significant improvement in movement, such as in climbing, which is now more free-flowing. Instead of pre-determined handholds, players can now hold on to just about anything within the protagonist’s reach.

So far, the developers have yet to set a specific release date for the much anticipated game. However, reports say that the game will release on the first quarter of 2016.

The PS4 exclusive Nathan Drake Collection rolls out on Oct. 9 for North America. Aside from having the remastered versions of the first three games that will have 1080p/60fps graphics and some new and tweaked features but no multiplayer, it will also come with an access to an upcoming “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” multiplayer beta.
