It seems that much awaited improvements and updates are being done for two title favorites, Resident Evil: Revelations and Final Fantasy 10. Imagine a growth for one minor and slightly controversial character, as well as a potential sequel 10 years overdue--good news indeed.

However, the same can't be said for Microsoft as it experiences a hack that released sensitive information to the public following the Xbox Entertainment Awards.

Resident Evil: Revelations finally gets a fighting Rachel

Capcom is gearing up the Resident Evil: Revelations high-def port with a Rachel in Raid mode.

The blond bombshell, who had previously been nothing but a minor character in the handheld version, is now getting her due screen time and action with Hunk as a playable character in Raid Mode, reports GameInformer.

Players can also expect two new enemies to pick up the action for the update.

Those who already have the Wii U version can swap out the GamePad for the Wii U Pro Controller as desired. But you can also play the GamePad for the new version, according to Siliconera.

Resident Evil: Revelations will launch this May on PS3, Windows PC, Xbox 360, and Wii U $49.99. Its first launch had been on the 3DS last year.

Xbox hacked: What happens to user info?

Around 3,000 subscribers to Microsoft's Xbox Live had their information leaked when the Xbox Entertainment Awards 2013 was hacked.

Digital Trends reports that MCV was the first to report on the incident, wherein a page listing all voters of the Xbox Entertainment Awards, complete with their usernames, email addresses, and birthdays, was put up.

However, unlike Sony's 2011 debacle, Microsoft was able to take down the leaked information immediately. And for those who were able to catch the leaked page, it was reported that highly sensitive information such as Xbox Live passwords, credit card numbers, and expiration dates were not included.

For now, Microsoft is conducting an investigation, and has currently closed off the Xbox Entertainment Awards site.

Final Fantasy X: Remastered and with added content

Final Fantasy 10 has already been reported to come out with a remastered edition of the PS3 and PS Vita.

But according to EuroGamer, a sequel is also in the works--a Final Fantasy 10-2, if you will--to be released in HD and in the same disc. This is reported to be a PS3 exclusive however, as Gamezone reports that the PS Vita will get two titles for the game.

Details are still in the works as developer Square Enix has yet to come out with any release dates or prices for the remakes. It's a pretty long waiting time, consider an entire decade of no updates, so expect a potential hype when the release date is announced.
