Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users now have the option to update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat using Omega custom ROM. The process remains the same for installing any custom ROM. Nonetheless, for beginners, users have to root their devices first before update. It is also important to download and save a custom recovery app.

Prior to updating, remember the following:

  • The device should run ClockworkMod recovery.
  • Installation will remove all data from the phone. Users can choose to update or not. Providers of the update cannot be held responsible for what happens to the device following installation. Users can update at their own risk.
