Days after Candice Accola announced her pregnancy over Instagram and fans started to create interesting “Steroline” baby theories for “The Vampire Diaries” season 7, the cast of the hit CW series have also shared their thoughts about the actress’ pregnancy.

E! News caught up with “The Vampire Diaries” cast members to ask for their opinion about the fans’ baby theories for Paul Wesley and Accola’s on-screen characters, Stefan and Caroline. When E! asked the pregnant actress whether the “Steroline” couple would make good parents, Accola agreed and said that the two would be “quick parents.” She jokingly explained that with the characters’ “vamp speed” would be a big help with diaper changes.

Accola added, “I don't know if they'd compel a baby not to cry? I don't know if that's cool for vampire parents to do."

As for the theoretical baby’s father, Wesley joked that his “The Vampire Diaries” character, Stefan, won’t probably be as hands on as Accola imagined their on-screen personas to be. Wesley said, "They'd send him to private boarding school way far away so they never had to deal with him."

However, when Ian Somerhalder was asked about a potential baby plot being written into season 7 of “The Vampire Diaries,” the actor replied he could “only hope” that it would happen. Somerhalder told E!, "I'm assuming so. One would only hope so, because I think that might be hard to explain."

The actor also added that Damon’s brother would make a “good dad” and that the theoretical baby would “grow up to be a sensitive, smart ripper."

Looks like Accola’s cast members are game to have a baby plot added to season 7 of “The Vampire Diaries” and are also supportive of the soon to be mother. However, it is still unclear whether a Stefan-Caroline baby will be written to the upcoming season. In a TVLine interview, Accola already shared that the CW series’ showrunners, Julie Plec and Caroline Dries, would be the best person to ask about it.

“The Vampire Diaries” season 7 will premiere on Oct. 8 in the U.S.
