'Vampire Diaries' Season 5: Episode 5 'Monster's Ball' Promo Video Clips Released [VIDEOS]

There will be a "Monster's Ball" party in the Halloween episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 Episode 5. The released promo video clips for the upcoming episode show an elegant costume party with couple Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) dressed up as King Henry VII and Anne Boleyn.

In the first promo video, Damon flirts with Elena but his girlfriend does not seem to be in the mood to show sweetness because of how she feels after finding out about her best friend Bonnie's tragic death. Episode 4 had the TVD gang got struck with the revelation about Bonnie (Kat Graham) being dead.

The most affected and hurt with Bonnie's passing are Elena and Caroline (Candice Accola) as they remember and pay respect to their best friend. During their emotional goodbye, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) suddenly showed up and surprised Caroline so now fans are excited to find out what happens next now that Tyler came back from the Appalachia.

The second promo video shows the "Vampire Diaries" cast members get ready for some action to fight against the Season 5 baddie Silas (Paul Wesley) in order to bring their friend Bonnie back. "Silas' whole bad guy plan is to kill himself and reunite with his dead girlfriend tomorrow. I wanna use his death to bring Bonnie back to life," Damon declares making Jeremy ask "You wanna work with Silas?"

However, Bonnie does not like the plan since there are consequences when it comes to abusing magic. Bonnie is obviously worried that her friends are placing their lives in danger for her and there is nothing that she can do about it on "The Other Side."

In addition to the spoilers in Episode 5, the Cartermatt.com report reveals the details on the upcoming Episode 7 titled "Death and the Maiden" scheduled to air on November 14. The spoiler report reads: "While Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) try to explain Amara's (Nina Dobrev) situation to Stefan (Paul Wesley), Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) gives Katherine (Nina Dobrev) some deeply disturbing news. Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) shows up at Caroline's (Candice Accola) dorm room, searching for Katherine. After a surprising conversation with Amara, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) share a glimmer of hope. Silas (Paul Wesley) fails to keep a promise, causing Damon to turn to Tessa (guest star Janina Gavankar) for help with his new plan, and Stefan makes a heartbreaking confession to Damon and Elena."

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5, Episode 5 "Monster's Ball" is scheduled to air on Thursday night, October 31, at 8/7c on the CW network.
