The reports on Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) returning to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 continue to circulate and it is getting more interesting. In the TV Line spoiler report, it appears Klaus will be returning to Mystic Falls with someone who wants to stop by to check out the ongoing events happening in town.

"There are things happening on Vampire Diaries which are pretty huge. Word travels to New Orleans and Klaus - and perhaps even one other of our characters - will be curious about the events that are taking place in Mystic Falls," executive producer Michael Narducci teased. The juicy question of "Who's returning to Mystic Falls with Klaus?" had the Cartermatt.com report speculate on the possible characters that can tag along with the Original hybrid.

The Web site finds it interesting to see the characters who never stepped foot in Mystic Falls appearing in the cross-over episode like Cami (Leah Pipes) or Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). However, there is still the possibility that Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt), Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies), Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin) or Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) head back to Mystic Falls.

As for Klaus' return, some viewers are still crossing their fingers that the temperamental hybrid will show his soft side again during an anticipated on-screen reunion with love interest Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola). In the meantime, English actor Joseph Morgan has other projects to focus on aside from his work in the "Vampire Diaries" spin-off series called "The Originals."

An exclusive video clip in the Just Jared Jr report shows the 32-year-old actor in the upcoming thriller film "Open Grave." The film story will be centering on a man who woke up in a pit of dead bodies with no recollection of who he is or how he ended up there.

The film synopsis further reads: "Fleeing the scene, he breaks into a nearby house and is met at gunpoint by a group of terrified strangers, all suffering from memory loss. Suspicion gives way to violence as the group starts to piece together clues about their identities, but when they uncover a threat that's more vicious - and hungry- than each other, they are forced to figure out what brought them all together - before it's too late."

Watch Joseph Morgan in "Open Grave" when it hits VOD on December 24, iTunes on December 31 and selected theaters on January 3, 2014. Mr Morgan will return as well in "The Originals" as hybrid Klaus Mikaelson on January 14, 2014 in Episode 10 titled "The Casket Girls" at 8 p.m. ET on the CW network.
