"The Vampire Diaries" fans rooting for the Stefan-Caroline romantic relationship in Season 5 will be delighted to watch the second sneak peak video clip released for Episode 9 titled "The Cell." Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola) shares a bonding moment in the upcoming episode preview.

The Hollywood Hills report finds the sneak peek video interesting as the blonde vampire tries to help Stefan deal and solve his drowning nightmares. In the video clip, Caroline introduces a new PTSD (Posttraumatic stress disorder) approach to Stefan's problem.

Unfortunately, Caroline's approach requires Stefan to be back in the box that trapped and drowned him over and over again during the summer. According to Cartermatt.com, Caroline wants Stefan to focus on the drowning incident and eventually face the traumatic event in his life where he almost died.

Then, Stefan shifts the conversation at to address Caroline's feelings of not being okay with Elena (Nina Dobrev) after killing Jesse (Kendrick Sampson) in Episode 8 "Dead Man on Campus." Caroline expresses her opinion that there could have been an alternative choice instead and brought the conversation back to Stefan facing his issue.

Some TVD fans are having a debate whether Stefan and Caroline should turn their friendship into a romantic relationship or not. It can be recalled that the "Steroline" relationship started in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 2 when Stefan helped Caroline in her vampire transition.

The sneak peek video does not really show anything romantic but some fans of the CW TV series hopes the pair's relationship will develop in Season 5. Even actor Paul Wesley thinks there is a chance that the "Steroline" romance will happen soon.

"Yeah, I can see that happening and I think it will happen. It's been a very slow process. They like to really take their time with it. They've been sort of hinting at it and teasing it, but it hasn't materialized," the 31-year-old actor teased in the WetPaint report.
