The Damon-Elena relationship ended in "The Vampire Diaries" season 5, episode 10 "Fifty Shades of Grayson" making Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) single and free. Will Elena run back to the arms of Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) who has been sharing some tender moments with Katherine Pierce (also Nina Dobrev)?

According to the Classicalite report, a love triangle could possibly happen when the CW TV series returns in 2013 where Stefan will have a hard time choosing between his former flames. In the TV Line interview, executive producer Caroline Dries discussed the result of the break-up to Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Elena and Stefan.

"Stefan is a person that she's going to lean on for advice and wisdom. She trusts him fully. But the Damon thing is still so tender. There's still so much that is unresolved about it... They just had a big blowout fight/break-up. But we have to see going forward, the next time they're in the same room together, how they deal with it," Ms Dries shared.

The executive producer teased as well about the Stefan-Katherine hook up that some "TVD" fans are looking forward to. "Romantic make-out in the hospital bed. Maybe. The 100th episode is Katherine on her death bed. She doesn't have a huge fanbase at the Salvatore house where she is, so Stefan is the person who's there for her. But when you're dying, romance isn't exactly on the front burner," Ms Dries teased.

In the meantime, actor Paul Wesley showed up at the recently held "Vampire Diaries" Convention in Orlando with a mystery woman. It's not his girlfriend Phoebe Tonkin. So, who is the lucky lady that the 31-year-old took to the event?

The mystery gal turns out to be Paul's sister, Monica, who had the opportunity to accompany her brother on his latest appearance in Florida. As for Paul's lady love Phoebe, WetPaint reports "The Original" actress was spotted spending some quality time with Paul's other sisters, Leah and Julia. It has further ignited the rumours that the couple's relationship is getting pretty serious since Ms Tonkin often hangs out with the Wasilewski family.
