"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will continue with the story of Elena's (Nina Dobrev) decision to take Damon away from her memories and the mystery on Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie's (Kat Graham) current location. TVD executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries gave a preview on what fans can expect in the upcoming second episode of the CW TV series titled "Yellow Ledbetter."

In the premiere episode, Elena wants to move on with her life but accepting the fact that Damon is gone makes it difficult for her. Julie Plec described Elena's decision to have her memories of loving Damon erased by Alaric (Matt Davis) to be a bold, sad and shocking one.

The preview clip teased that Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is not pleased with Elena's decision because it will have Bonnie's memories erased too. Elena explained that missing her best friend makes her sad and missing her dead boyfriend makes her dangerous.

A promo video for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 2 titled "Yellow Ledbetter" teased that Alaric started the process of removing Elena's memories of loving Damon but he is having a hard time because he needs the signature moment when Elena knew that she loves Damon. Caroline (Candice Accola) revealed to Alaric via phone call that Elena fell in love with Damon when she was still with Stefan (Paul Wesley).

The executive producers further previewed about Enzo's (Michael Malarkey) grand return in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 2 where he and Caroline finally tracked down Stefan's new home in Savannah, Georgia. Plec revealed that Caroline and Stefan will have an awkward moment in the upcoming episode because it will be the first time they are seeing each other in four months.

The awkwardness will result from Enzo's determination to find Damon while Stefan already gave up on that. Caroline Dries teased in a Latin Post report that Enzo will have a different reaction to Damon's death.

"He's not going to give up on him. So his point of view on Damon is in direct conflict with Stefan's," Caroline Dries shared. The executive producer also teased in an exclusive E!Online TV scoop report that Enzo will be up to something in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 which will be on point with what is happening with the Damon-Stefan storyline.

Lastly, Plec and Dries teased that the TVD fans will finally find out where Bonnie and Damon are and what they are in the second episode. Plec revealed that what happened to Damon and Bonnie will be tied up to the episode titles of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6.

The released promo video revealed that Damon and Bonnie have no idea where they are but the two keeps on reliving the date May 10, 1994 all over again. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 returns on Thursday night, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network with episode 2 titled "Yellow Ledbetter."
